About the role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring Thentia’s customers receive a high-end product. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall quality of Thentia’s product and ensuring it meets our established standards. You will also ensure the product’s quality adheres to standards in relation to reliability, performance and customer expectations. You will have analytical and problem-solving abilities that allows you to document and provide accurate findings after inspection of the product.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in all QA test phases such as Requirements validation, Smoke, Explore, Functional, Integration, user acceptance testing (UAT) and Regression testing, Accessibility testing

• Understand requirement documents, functional specifications, high level design and system documentation

• Actively participate in developing test plan

• Develop/Maintain automation test scripts of test plans, test cases and test scripts within automated testing tools.

• Test and certify software defect fixes and create test summary reports.

• Follow existing process to ensure delivery of project as scheduled with high quality.

• Test case design and execution, Perform scenario-based testing from the perspective of various business documents or test plans/cases

• Defect maintenance and follow-ups

• Investigating causes of defects that occur during the testing phase

• Proven track record establishing solid QA practice, strategies and plans

• Ability to focus on deadlines/deliverables and to find the defects quickly

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years working experience

• Excellent knowledge of QA and software testing methodologies including Agile experience using Page object Model Framework and BBD

• Bachelor's degree.

• Experience of Selenium Web driver, Jenkins, Appium, Github, MySQL, JAVA, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Database testing, Performance Testing(JMeter)

• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps

• Experience in API testing using postman

• Experience in Accessibility testing

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Nice to Have:

• Professional certification such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
